My expectations were honestly blown out of the water, I couldn’t believe how hospitable, thankful and caring all or une families and indviduals we interacted with were. Especially Lupita, Olga and Roberto- it was amazing to see the kindness they distributed to all of the kids and adults in need of hippotherapy. Being able to witness and be a part of Children of Mexico International will always resonate intensely with me when I eventually enter the field of speech-language pathology. Our mission trip was humbling, eye opening, uplifting and gave us volunteers experience in places we were not originally familiar. The cultural aspect of the trip was incredibly rewarding as well. I felt as though | learned an incredible amount about a wonderful culture where I otherwise would not have had the opportunity.

That being said, thank you so much, Margarita! I am honored to have been a part of Children of Mexico International. I
