Mission to Mexico
2025

Join us for a life-changing mission to Guadalajara, Mexico, from July 6th to July 12th, 2025.

This is more than just a trip—it’s an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of special needs children, vulnerable youth, and abandoned elderly women. Whether you’re a healthcare professional, a student, or someone with a heart for service, this mission offers a unique chance to give back, grow personally, and connect with a community in need.

Why This Mission Matters

In Mexico, thousands of children and elderly individuals face daily challenges due to poverty, disability, and lack of family support. Many of these individuals live in orphanages or group homes, where resources are limited, and care is often stretched thin. By joining this mission, you’ll be part of a team that brings hope, healing, and practical support to those who need it most.

Our Mission Focus: Who We Serve

1.  Hogar Cabañas Orphanage:
This public organization provides comprehensive care to children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. Many of these children have been abandoned or come from unstable family environments. Hogar Cabañas focuses on their psychological, motor, and educational development, ensuring they have the tools to thrive and integrate into society.

• What We Do: Volunteers assist with daily activities, provide educational support, and offer emotional care to help these children feel valued and loved.

2. Casa Hogar Bienaventurados de Jesus:
This orphanage specializes in caring for disabled individuals, offering speech therapy and other forms of assistance since 2007.

• What We Do: Volunteers work alongside therapists to provide care, engage with residents, and support their developmental needs.

3. Asilo de Ancianos Desamparado:
This group home in Guadalajara provides shelter and care for abandoned elderly women. Many of these women have been left without family support and rely on the kindness of others for their basic needs.

• What We Do: Volunteers offer companionship, assist with daily tasks, and bring joy to these women through meaningful interactions.

What You’ll Experience as a Volunteer

• Meaningful Connections: You’ll work directly with children, elderly individuals, and local staff, forming bonds that transcend language and culture.

• Personal Growth: This mission will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, adapt to new environments, and develop skills in empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving.

• Cultural Immersion: You’ll experience the rich culture of Mexico, from its vibrant traditions to its warm and welcoming people.

• Professional Development: For healthcare professionals and students, this is an opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world setting, gain hands-on experience, and make a tangible impact.
